Positive points of e-commerce: -
 

1. The e-commerce business has more clients than any other business in the world. The clients can simply sit at home and compare thousands of products before buying the product. The possibility of selling and buying from any part of the world expands the target public and allows the company to gain more clients.

2. E-commerce runs 24 hours a day and seven days a week, but this is not possible to find a store that opens all day long and the clients can buy whatever they want and whenever they want it.

3. The price of the products of an e-commerce site is very low compared to any local store nearby. This is the reason more clients get attracted to it. E-commerce also has special offers during festival season. Due to the low price the profit margin increases. They can also sell thousands of products in a minute which is on other hand seems impossible for a local shop.

Negative  points of e-commerce: - 

There are some challenges in the e-commerce business. Challenges are good as it helps to learn new things, but if there were no challenges then starting a e-commerce would be like a piece of cake.

1. Although the payment methods are very secure, even a lot of clients still thinks that the payment security is less secure and this leads to mistrust. To solve the issue we have to inform the clients that the payment is secure, we can also add a various certificate that encrypts the transferred information.

2. Most of the clients like the feeling of making a good investment so they like to check the products thousand times before buying it, but e-commerce the clients can only verify the product by images, videos and very detailed descriptions of the products. Due to lack of physical store this natural feeling is missing in an e-commerce shop.

3. E-commerce requires access to the Internet to be able to buy and sell, so you need a device connected to the Internet. Nowadays, many people have access to the internet, but some sectors in which the clients don't know how to use the Internet could become a problem.

4. As e-commerce is completely online, sometimes there occurs may technical problems and the clients have to deal with unfamiliar issues. A strong technical team is also needed to solve the client's problems quickly and make them believe that everything is safe. Sometimes the payment gets stuck, in those cases, the issue might get more problematic.

5. The initial investment in order to start an e-commerce business is not as high as the initial cost of a physical business. But the competitors are more. It takes time to get good results but the one who sticks strong will definitely get success.
